DECLARATION OF ACCESSIBILITY
- General
- The LIBI Fund – Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers (Registered Association) – YAHAD – UNITED FOR ISRAEL’S SOLDIERS (hereafter: the organization) places emphasis on providing quality, respectful, equal and accessible service to all soldiers or visitors to its installations, including individuals with disabilities.
- Therefore, the organization works to make the required adaptations to address all visitors, whether via direct or digital avenues, since accessibility of this kind allows effective use of services and knowledge provided, inter alia, on the website (hereafter: adaptations).
- Adaptations conform to the instructions of the Law of Equal Rights for Individuals with Disabilities 1988 and its ordinances and standards
2. Accessibility at Installations
Adaptations seek to address diverse issues. These
relate to access to structures and include ramps, elevators, bathrooms, signage, counters and more; and the provision of services such as training, orientation, completion of forms, and frontal services, as detailed below:

3. Training Staff on Accessibilized Service
The organization conducts training courses for staff on accessibility and providing services to individuals with disabilities, including experiential activities and individualized training with various accessories. Ongoing refresher courses are also held for staff on issues relating to accessibility oriented service in our structures.
4. Website Accessibility
- The organization works to improve website accessibility as part of our commitment to making all services accessible to all sectors, including individuals with disabilities. To this end, resources have been invested in website accessibility to make it more user friendly and make its services more available to individuals with disabilities.
- Website accessibility aims to improve the website, making it more user friendly to special needs populations, particularly those with motor impairments, cognitive disorders, impaired vision, blindness, color blindness, hearing deficiencies, and senior populations.
- In accordance with Item C of the Regulations on Equal Rights for Individuals with Disabilities (Service Access Adaptations) 2013, we are committed to the AA Standard conforming to Israeli Standard 5568 “Outlines for Internet Content Accessibility.” The Israeli standard is identical to those of the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 concerning website access A / AA / AAA.
- The level of website accessibility:
- Navigation tools on the website are simple and clear, and the font size can be enlarged using the accessibility ruler on the side of the screen. Pages can be given higher contrast and negative contrast (light text against a dark background) using the accessibility ruler. Information on the website can be scanned by a screen reader. The website can be navigated without a mouse by using the Tab, arrows and Enter keys.
- Website content is clearly worded, organized and hierarchic. Where needed, explanations are provided adjacent to the content.
- The website is adapted to viewing in current browsers.
- The website is adapted to presentation on diverse screens and in various resolutions.
- Website content is presented in simple, clear language.
- All website pages are organized in a fixed template.
- Every website image comes with an alternative textual explanation (Alt).
- The website allows changing font size by using the CTRL key and mouse scroller.
- Moving text and flashing texts are avoided on the website.
- It is important to note that despite our efforts to provide accessibility for all website pages, some website areas may not yet be fully or appropriately accessibilized.
- Consultancy on website accessibility was conducted in conjunction with the “Migdalor” association which conducted a comprehensive review of the website’s accessibility.
- Exceptions: the digital automated system for producing online receipts for donations cannot be accessibilized for technological reasons.
